Krasta Sporta Centrs has chosen to install Plexicushion Prestige tennis surface, made in USA. Plexicushion Prestige is Hard type acrylic tennis surface with shock absorbing layers. The Plexicushion substrate, a special blend of latex, rubber and plastic particles form a resilient layer that absorbs body shocks and reduces muscle fatigue. The 100% acrylic plexipave surface provides consistent and uniform bounce, lomg-lasting colour and allows speed of play specification.
Tennis courts installed at Krasta Sporta Centrs have International Tennis Federation - ITF - court pace certification as 3 MEDIUM.
Plexicushion Prestige system has been chosen by Tennis Australia as their surface of choice for the Australian Open tournament and is the ideal training surface for future Australian Open champions!
